Israel's 7-Front Battle
October 7, 2023, Hamas and several other Palestinian militant groups launched coordinated attacks from the Gaza Strip into the Gaza territory of southern Israel. This was reportedly the first invasion of Israeli territory since the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. It was the greatest slaughter since the holocaust and resulted in the deaths of more than 1,200 men, women and children, including 46 Americans and citizens from more than 30 countries, They also abducted hundreds, and injured thousands.

October 8, 2023 The Lebanese Hezbollah joined the attacks launching thousands of rockets at Israel. By August 2024, the terrorist group had launched around 7,500 rockets and 200 drone attacks.
Yahya Saree, a spokesman for the Houthis of Yemen said in a televised statement that the group had launched a "large number" of ballistic missiles and drones towards Israel on Oct. 31, 2023, and there would be more such attacks to come "to help the Palestinians to victory"
Iran then joined the war with 180 ballistic missiles, totaling an estimated 500 projectiles overall.

(On July 28, 2024, speaking at a conference to members of his party, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey threatened to invade Israel in support of the Palestinian militants. Also, Syrian rebels have vowed to march on Jerusalem following the fall of Bashar al-Assad.)
